Detailed Description

Tendermint combines a Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus engine with a generic application interface, known as the Application Blockchain Interface (ABCI). It allows developers to build custom blockchains that can securely achieve consensus and replicate the state of their applications across many nodes. Tendermint Core is responsible for ensuring the network reaches consensus on the order of transactions, while ABCI enables various programming languages to be used in developing applications on top of Tendermint.
