● Along with fellow founders, conceived and built a blockchain-based, financial services infrastructure technology company, providing services and solutions to banks and other providers through a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) delivery model. ● Raised substantial equity and debt financing including Series A (2019) and Series B (2022), from UHNWI, Sovereign Wealth Fund and other institutional investors in the Middle East and globally. ● Established ADGM holding company structure including Category 3a and Category 3c licensed financial services businesses and a technology company. Secured regulatory licenses from ADGM and FSRA in Abu Dhabi together with entry to Mubadala’s Hub71 Startup ecosystem. ● Facilitated establishment of US entities under SEC and FINRA regulation, including a Delaware C Corporation topco (as COO), a FINRA Transfer Agent, SEC Broker Dealer, and SEC Digital ATS Broker Dealer. ● Set up Securrency’s operational blueprint from scratch, including compliance and governance, human resources, marketing and communications, sales, finance and accounting, operations, and administration. ● Hired, motivated, and oversaw a multicultural team of 100+ employees in Abu Dhabi and the US. ● Onboarded and managed global contractor and vendor relationships with third party providers in Europe, APAC, and North America. ● Built a sizeable revenue pipeline of new business opportunities creating and executing a strategic business development plan, cultivating and onboarding blue-chip financial services clients. ● Supported the successful sale of Securrency, Inc to Depository Trust and Clearing Company (DTCC); involved in all aspects of negotiation and execution, providing sell-side due diligence as a member of the executive team. ● Gained significant executive and board leadership experience as SEO and Board Director of two ADGM-based financial services companies, one ADGM domiciled technology company, and as COO of Securrency’s topco, a Delaware C Corporation.
