Experienced with startups (I co-founded 4 of them) as well as with tier-1 investment banks in England, US, Japan and France. I manage and advise R&D and Architecture Teams, engage and evangelise clients at C level. In 2005 I created ActiveViam on the realisation that Grid Computing and In-memory Computing would change the landscape of business intelligence applied to financial systems. I built the overall architecture and developed ActivePivot - ActiveViam real time in memory big data product. I have been involved in applying blockchain and other privacy technologies as a basis to rebuild distributed and transactional workflows across highly demanding major regulated financial instutions. My interests lie in Distributed Computing, Blockchain and the applications of Natural Language Processing, High Throughput / High Availability Component Based System Architecture, High Performance Computing and Big Data.
