He has deep expertise in commercial and corporate banking across lending, transactional banking, and investment products. Jan has held board of director positions in life and general insurance. He has extensive corporate development experience and has successfully grown new business units within listed corporations in both insurance and banking and has assisted with the integration of complex acquisitions. As a business development executive, Jan has successfully originated and managed large and complex institutional sales and partnership opportunities. Jan has, as a CFO of growth ventures, assisted companies with capital raising, pricing, business case based decision making and financial planning. He has had exposure to corporate finance and private equity especially in deal origination and selection. As a commercial banker, he assisted both large businesses and SMEs obtain their ideal working capital and balance sheet structures, including raising finance and treasury management.  Jan started his banking career in strategy and has expertise in market analysis (including market entry and exit), market segmentation, launching new products, and creating solutions around customer needs. He is experienced in leading large cross-functional teams in order to execute a common purpose. He has practical hands-on experience in Emerging Markets.
