Mr. JD Franke currently serves on the OOC Oil and Gas Blockchain Consortium Board of Directors as the designated representative from ConocoPhillips. Mr. Franke is a member of the ConocoPhillips office of the Global CIO, where he has served in an IT Strategy and Innovation role since 2012 from the Houston-based world headquarters. Franke supports the Global IT Leadership team in setting the organizations strategic agenda and acts as an internal consultant on emerging IT technologies that can enable innovation and digital transformation efforts across the company. Franke is a member of a cross-functional leadership team focused on advancing ConocoPhillips Blockchain-related efforts and represents IT on a company-wide Emerging Technology Council. Previously, Mr. Franke had a long career in the High-Tech industry where he worked for HP Services as a Global Portfolio Manager for SAP Services, and held Senior Director and Director-level management roles that included Business Development for a Global Alliance Organization, directing a network of North America-wide Solutions Engineering and Benchmarking Centers, and various other Technical Presales management positions for Compaq Computer Corporation and HP. Mr. Franke has had stints in the healthcare industry serving as a Director of Business Development and as a Communications Manager for a mid-sized national healthcare company, Franke has also provided independent IT strategy consulting services to a select client list that included a Global Oil Field Services company, a large bank, and a healthcare company. Mr. Franke began his career with Pennzoil Company in Houston, TX serving as a programmer/analyst in the IT organization.
