Summary
After over 20 years working on Financial Markets in 7 different countries, I am comfortable with working in rapidly evolving landscape with uncertainties and under pressure. I am a creative problem solver and idea generator currently working previously as digital assets initiative lead in the innovation department of ING and currently Partner at Investcorp (in charge of the blockchain fund). My strong technological/analytical skills and business savvy character excels in the innovation and entrepreneurship environment. I have a successful experience on leading operational project team from scratch to production on blockchain/DLT/Digital Assets supported by my high motivation to get things done, great level of energy and optimism. I mentored startups at StartupBootcamp and Kickstarter and joined various hackathons. I demonstrated thought leadership in different work group (EBF, EBA, R3 DAWG, EU Blockchain forum, World Economic Forum …) and participated in conferences as speaker/panelist (like Consensus). I also co-chaired the Custody working group of GDF (Global Digital Finance).

In 2024: Digital Assets regulation - joined "Digital Assets regulatory initiative" working group sessions - participated in leadership interviews In 2023: Non-Fungible Tokens - Joined the "Evolution of Non-Fungible Tokens" working group In 2022/2023: Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) - Participated in CBDC workshop and the writing of the white paper: Central Bank Digital Currency Global Interoperability principles (June 2023) - Participating in "Wholesale CBDC & Modernizing Financial Market Infrastructures" initiative community - Participated in Central Bank Digital Currency Regional Roundtable Discussions (MENA focus) and joined as Panelist to discuss what are some of the key elements to consider when designing CBDCs in MENA and What are the lessons learned in experimentation, piloting and development?
