CEO MB Pay

I spearheaded the MB Pay project from its inception in 2018 through its full-scale launch. Implementing a core banking system (Matera), I established operational processes, integrated with Mercado Bitcoin systems, and built a robust digital banking team. Successfully navigated regulatory milestones with the Brazilian Central Bank. Achieved rapid growth, reaching R$500MM in B2B transactions within 6 months and R$3Bi shortly thereafter. Developed and launched our B2C operation with Android and iOS apps in April 2021.

As COO, I managed Finance, Customer Experience, Business Intelligence, and Financial Operations (cash-in and cash-out), overseeing billions of reais traded annually. My leadership contributed to Mercado Bitcoin’s growth as the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Latin America, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

As CFO at Mercado Bitcoin, I played a pivotal role in steering the company's financial strategy and ensuring robust financial health during a period of rapid growth and market expansion. My responsibilities included: Financial Strategy and Planning, Budget Management, Financial Reporting, Cost Optimization, and Team Leadership

As CGO, I was responsible for supporting the MB professionalization process. During this period, we brought several directors from renowned national and international companies.
