VAKT (formerly project Forcefield, BP NOJV), Dec 2017 - June 2018 Forcefield was incorporated in December 2017 with nine minority shareholders – BP, Shell, Equinor, Mercuria, Koch, Gunvor, SocGen, ING and ABNAmro. VAKT is devloping a post trade processing platform for physical energy commodities. • Facilitated the negotiation strategy undertaken with the finalists of the ODC • Participated in the negotiations and selection of the Technology partner • Sourced and selected premises, physical and virtual infrastructure • Onboarded Technology partner • Participated in a 5 week Discovery and Inception Phase Project Forcefield – June 2017 – Dec 2017 A consortium of 3 Oil Majors (BP,Shell, Statoil), 6 Trading Houses (Mercuria, Koch, Gunvor, Vitol, Trafigura and Glencore) and 3 Banks (SocGen, ING and ABNAmro) who came together to explore the viability of a post trade processing platform based on Blockchain technology for Oil • Facilitated Product Workshops for 3 use cases – BFOE, ARA Barges and US Crude Pipeline • Co-designed and implemented the Open Development Challenge (ODC) – a new and innovative approach to identifying a Technology partner – an alternative to the traditional RFI/RFP process • Formed and facilitated the BP Project Governance of Forcefield • Co-ordinated all aspects of the formation of the NOJV, including but not limited to - Business Model, SFN, Risk Assessment, Shareholder agreement Global Finance Transformation, May 2017 - Jun 2018 • Designed and implemented the Transformation Governance Structure and prioritisation methodology for the Global Finance Leadership Team • Designed and implemented the Process Management Framework for identifying and prioritising Transformational opportunities • Facilitated the Global Blockchain Governance Board chaired by the Head of Global Finance Services – IST • Participated in Project Forcefield and BP NOJV - VAKT
