I am a passionate IT Security professional and I enjoy the day-to-day challenges of my job. I have been involved in many different projects, touching almost every field in the IT Security framework. From penetration testing to reverse engineering, I have been able to defend my work, not only in front of a technical audience, but also in front of managers and customers. I am actively involved in some malware research and incident response groups, which gives me access to some very interesting, first-hand information on security incidents and malware trends. This allows me to always stay up to date with the best ways to protect networks. Lately, during my spare time, I have been developing "Gummer", a tool for hunting advanced malware, which will be released to the public in the beginning of 2015, during the security congress Sh3llcon. From time to time, I have also been publishing some short articles on my blog: xgusix.com.
