Development of a soon to be announced (Q4 2018) hardware and software platform in partnership with AMD. Project investment north of a hundred million dollars. Designed the project features and strategy Build the complete business and financial simulation from scratch Tweak business model and design innovative revenue streams validated by my financial simulation Build pitch deck. Setup the company structure Setup the office Handle recruitment strategy, setup core team; CTO, CSO, HR, CFO and executed interviews of all key collaborators. Personally raised 50million RMB (7.877 mil dollars) from Chinese government Personally raised 250 Million RMB (38.385 mil dollars) from Chinese government Personally raised 300 Million RMB (47.262 mil dollars) from a private bank (investment didn't complete as a result of a board member failed to comply with the bank's requirements). Worked with AMD on the development of a custom APU (A CPU with integrated GPU). Established technical requirements and decided the APU's final specifications. Successfully negotiated a custom license deal with Microsoft with unusual terms (if you ever dealt with Microsoft at corporate levels you'll know this is a feat ;) Successfully negotiated an advantageous manufacturing deal with Compal, the manufacturer of amongst others, HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc. computers. Researched and later successfully negotiated the acquisition of licenses of various 3rd party technologies (many whom were not for sale). Presented our project and engaged negociations with Konami, Codemasters, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, KOEI TECMO, ... Our board members didn't follow up on their promises that were to me of the highest importance. While disappointed, I felt comfortable leaving the company knowing I had a co-ceo that was happy to take over my responsibilities. I'm still in good terms with my former board members and have been offered to build and lead another massive project but I wanted to build Ultra without external interferences.

Following the acquisition of my game development studio PixelBeam by Kingsoft (Xiaomi) my dev team and myself joined Kingosft's game development studio in Dalian China (Seasun). The acquisition’s objective was to: 1. Improve the UE4 based FPS game they were working on by replacing their FPS technology by ours. 2. Asked me to improve the Dalian office's ~300 men workforce productivity. 3. Let me design and lead a team to develop an innovative in-game visual mod and map editor. I optimized many aspects of the office's management style and enjoyed regular visits from random workers thanking me for having positively impacted their jobs. While I loved the job, I left it because I was seduced by an incredible offer to build a video game hardware company with a budget of well over 100 million dollars.
