Over the past 20 yrs, I've been freelancing as a user experience designer. As I always have entrepreneurial activities happening on the side and since user experience is really the key to any successful product, I have found that working as a UX designer allows me to always be deeply aware of current usability trends and technologies.My background in technology goes back to when I was 11yrs old, designing and programming little madlib story telling games for the Commodore PET. In the 90s, I was primarily focused on multimedia and websites for the music industry. Two of my most memorable projects was the design and build of an illustrator portfolio (featured in STUDIO magazine) and the design and build of a multifaceted computer catalogue search for Canada's largest electronics wholesaler (now known as SYNNEX).In the 2000's most of my work was in digital advertising, designing online experiences for many national & global brands like BlackBerry, Walmart, OLG, MasterCard and Bayer. I spent 4yrs focused on the banking industry working as a Sr UX Designer for TD Canada Trust. I built up extensive experience with credit cards, public site and secure site. I created prototypes for user testing, from simple "flat" click prototypes to highly functional Axure prototypes to full on AngularJS prototypes. Work has been completed in Agile PODs including pre-sprint & in-sprint activities and Agile ceremonies.At Intersect I worked as a Senior Product Designer working in a single year-long project working in a large multi-disciplined agile team.- Most recently at INTERSECT as Sr Product Designer- Previously 4+ years at TD as Sr Interaction Designer
