Code is a Managing Director at Mistral, a venture capital firm, based in Canada. Mistral invests in early stage Enterprise SW companies across North America; leveraging AI, and Cloud infrastructure. Prior to Mistral, Code was a venture investor, then COO at Zephyr Technology- a Venture backed startup acquired by Covidien in 2014. Before joining Zephyr, Code was a partner at Motorola Ventures where he led investments in mFoundry (acquired by First Data), Dilithium Networks (acquired by OnMobile) Intelleflex, Apprion, Zephyr Technology and Dart Devices. Previously Code was a Principal at Gabriel Venture Partners where he was involved in a number of investments including CrossMedia (acquired by Gannett, Knight Ridder, and Tribune); Encentuate (acquired by IBM); LVL7 Networks (acquired by Broadcom) and Kajeet. Code also led Gabriel's disruptive technology practice, which included numerous investments including Iridigm Display (acquired by Qualcomm) NextG Wireless (acquired by Crown Castle), SkyCross and Boston Power. Prior to his investing career, Code was an electrical engineer; beginning his career at IBM, where he designed mainframe computers, before specializing as a high frequency circuit designer. His technical experience includes digital, analog, RF and optical circuit design.
