Carlos Sarraute holds a M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires and a Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering from ITBA. He currently is Director of Data Science Research at RapidSOS. He has worked on understanding and predicting Human Dynamics, by analyzing big data coming from mobile phone companies and the banking industry, along with other sources of data and metadata. He participated in scientific collaborations with MIT, City College of New York, INRIA Paris, ENS Lyon and UBA among others. He has presented his work in data science and social network analysis conferences, such as ASONAM, KDD and NetMob. He has published in several journals including Nature Communications.
