Calvin started trading biscuits for toys in kindergarten, initiated his school 1st Computer club at the age of 13 and founded LSCC (Leaque of Schools Computers Clubs) and the biggest inter-school challenge ‘COMP QUIZ’ in Malaysia. At school he’s the 1st person to hold Funding Director position in both INTERACT and LEO club because his projects brings in the bucks. At the age of 16 he started STEP ONE a Co that organizes weekly tea dances and parties making him the richest kid in school. Right after graduating he enters the world of advertising premiums and arcade games. Managing an amusement company that rack in $50 million in revenues with branded games such as DAYTONA USA. He later took a new challenge and move to Hong Kong to launch a handbag and advertising Co that deals with brands such as LAMBORGHINI, H&M, ESPRIT, JAGUAR, TEKKEN and PAC-MAN. Back to Malaysia again he started a Game Co that rocked the PC Games industry by masterminding the control of 85% of Malaysia cyber cafes in the late 90’s. Represented the 1st WCG *World Cyber Games in 1999. This PC Games venture took him to China where he was part of the World of Warcraft team that partnered with THE9 (*IPO 2004)*NCTY, designed the entire WARCRAFT & COUNTER-STRIKE merchandise lines and innovated China 1st 3G mobile voice comics Co. Joined CITIC PACIFIC *HKE267 and CITIC 1616 (IPO 2009) *HKE1883 as Vice President. Calvin was also a Consultant to SULAKE (Habbo.com) and advisor to many start-up Co. These lead him to be involved and invested in several others Co such as – Tiange (IPO 2015)*HKE1980, Haomaiyi, ZhongcaoTV, 21PINK.com, ReTech (IPO 2017)*ASX:RTE, ALICE Live, STARZ Factory and today a series of 39 Companies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
