Caleb is a Principal Research Engineer at Blockchain Capital. He joined the firm in September 2022. Caleb conducts technical due diligence, research, and supports portfolio companies’ engineering teams. Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Caleb was the SVP of Product and Engineering at the largest Bitcoin miner in North America, Core Scientific. Previously, he co-founded and served as CTO at RADAR (acquired), where he built one of the first decentralized exchanges and other early DeFi products. Before that, he was an early Data Science Engineer at Coinbase. Caleb has been an active participant in the Ethereum ecosystem since 2017 contributing to various emerging verticals including DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs. Caleb earned a B.S. and MCS in Computer Science from Colorado State University.
