Build the whole engineer team from 0 to 20+; Define annual technology roadmap & key objectives for whole company, organize periodic reviews of key results and performance; Define IT governance policies including software development standards and processes, security best practice and implementation guideline; Design cloud-native & on-premises software architecture and stacks to build solid and secure banking services compatible with different infrastructures such as AWS/Microsoft Azure/Aliyun and also virtualization solutions; Lead the engineer team to perform code reviews, and also develop the CI/CD pipeline; Keep documentation well-managed, use C4Model for technical architecture diagrams; Lead the team to standardize product development to improve code reusability and maintainability, also develop the log standard and platform to help engineers identify root cause quicker and easier; Act as solution architect, collaborate with BA/PM to implement projects together with team; Apply for industry certificates/awards including PCI DSS v3.2/Visa Ready/Visa Everywhere Initiative/mastercard StartPath; Vendor management, including financial budgets/contracts/end-to-end process review and gap closing; Guide, coach and mentor engineers.
