Founder and CTO, I designed, developed and operated a software SAAS solution allowing companies (mostly in the North American Oil & Gas sector where Amalto is the leader) to improve their bottom lines by reducing working capital requirements. The SAAS platform streamlines their electronic document workflows with their customers - invoicing in particular - providing high-volume, high-availability system to system integration. As a coding CTO I enjoyed tackling design and algorithm challenges with other, all highly qualified, Amalto techies. Quadrem was an electronic market place - much like Ariba - originally set-up by the leading mining and aluminium companies in the world (BHP, Rio Tinto, Anglo-American, Alcan, Pechiney, etc…) As Technical Director Europe, I had to implement and to operate the Quadrem side of the e-procurement project of very large corporations in Europe (Nestlé, Renault, Alcan, Anglo-American, Schlumberger etc...): -electronic catalogues creation and management -high-tech messaging connectivity from their ERPs to their suppliers -provision of other added value high-tech solutions e-RFQs, e-auctions, etc...
